Our intensive outpatient program provides a flexible approach to recovery. You can continue living at home while attending treatment sessions several times a week. This allows you to balance your recovery with your daily responsibilities.

When you begin rehabilitation treatment at CenterPointe in Port Charlotte, FL, our team of alcohol and drug addiction counselors will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan. We believe in the importance of continuous learning, building community relationships, and the power of group therapy.

We keep group sessions small, with no more than ten individuals per group. This allows us to give each person the attention they need and deserve. We also involve and educate family members and close friends, providing them with the tools to support your recovery.

What types of outpatient programs do you offer for substance abuse treatment?

Our Port Charlotte rehab facility offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for both alcohol and drug addiction. This program provides structured treatment while allowing clients to maintain their daily responsibilities.

How often do I need to attend outpatient sessions?

Our IOP typically meets 3 days per week for 3 hours each session. Monday, Wednesday & Thursday,  9:30am – 12:30pm.

Can I continue working while in outpatient treatment?

Yes, our outpatient program is designed to accommodate work schedules. Many clients find they can balance treatment with their job responsibilities.

What therapies are included in your outpatient substance abuse treatment?

Our Port Charlotte center utilizes evidence-based rehabilitation therapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy, group counseling, and relapse prevention techniques. We also offer our patients craniosacral therapy.

How do you involve family members in outpatient treatment?

Family involvement is encouraged through educational sessions and family therapy. We believe family support is crucial for long-term recovery success.

What happens after I complete the outpatient program?

Upon completion, we’ll work with you to develop a comprehensive aftercare plan. This may include ongoing counseling, support groups, or transitioning to a less intensive level of care within our Port Charlotte facility.

Is there another CenterPointe location I can visit?

Except for Port Charlotte, we have two more centers in Florida, one in Sarasota and the other in Venice. This allows us to extend our quality care and services to a wider community, where everyone has access to the support they need.
