Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program
Outpatient Treatment Programs
CenterPointe Counseling and Recovery realizes that drug and alcohol addiction is a complex problem that can affect almost every aspect of an individual’s life: family, work and school, and community. CenterPointe Counseling and Recovery specializes in outpatient substance abuse treatment in Sarasota, Venice, and Port Charlotte.
Because of addiction’s complexity and devastating consequences, alcohol and drug abuse recovery must involve many components, as no single treatment is appropriate for everyone. Matching treatment programs and services to an individual’s particular needs is critical to their success.
Below you will find descriptions of the numerous proven outpatient substance abuse program options offered through CenterPointe Counseling and Recovery.

These programs are designed for those individuals that have been using drugs or alcohol and need frequent sessions to maintain abstinence. Some of our clients attend this program in an effort to gain control over their substance use problems before there becomes a need to go to an inpatient facility, while some of our clients attend this program as a step-down option following an inpatient stay.
During the client’s initial appointment or evaluation in one of our outpatient substance abuse treatment centers we will assist in determining which type of program is most appropriate. If an inpatient option is necessary, recommendations can be made.
CenterPointe emphasizes recovery counseling, education, community building, and group therapy. Groups are kept to an average of ten members so all individuals get the focus they need for successful treatment. Family members, parents, and/or support persons are required to be involved in the individual’s treatment and are counseled as well to help their loved ones succeed.
Core Topics of Functional Recovery From Alcohol and Drug Abuse

Clinical Evaluations & Drug Screening
Clinical Evaluations: Each individual interested in beginning treatment with us will first be scheduled for a comprehensive biopsychosocial clinical evaluation by one of our qualified professionals. Upon completion of the evaluation, a treatment plan will be created between the individual and the counselor, and/or referrals for appropriate ancillary services will be provided.
Drug Screening: All clients participating in any of our programs will be asked to submit to random drug screening. We use drug screening methods and laboratories that provide us with detailed information on multiple substances including levels of each substance found in the sample.
