Substance Abuse Treatment

Substance abuse is a problem that affects everyone, regardless of age, race, or gender. It could even involve every aspect of an individual’s life. In fact, substance abuse has been shown to affect an individual’s physical health, mental health, relationships, employment, and finances.

And while substance abuse is a problem that can be solved with help, it requires an approach that addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of addiction.

At CenterPointe, we approach substance abuse treatment with a holistic perspective – addressing all aspects of an individual’s life. This includes physical, mental, social, spiritual, and financial well-being. Our goal is to help clients become whole again by assisting them to overcome the issues related to substance abuse through matching treatment programs and services.

Currently, our programs for substance abuse treatment include the following services:

  • Outpatient Treatment Programs
  • Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
  • Substance Abuse Group Therapy
  • Clinical Evaluations & Drug Screening
  • Individual, Couples & Family Therapy

At this time, the above mentioned services are available in our treatment areas in Venice, FL, and Sarasota, FL.

CranioSacral Therapy

Stress and tensions can build up in the body over time, causing pain and discomfort. And while your body can withstand and endure such stressors, sometimes they get too much and cause problems.

When this happens, it can lead to headaches, neck pains, backaches, chronic fatigue, TMJ syndrome, and a whole list of other symptoms.

This is where CranioSacral Therapy comes into play. The purpose of this therapy is to release tension and stress in the body by working directly with the craniosacral system.

With CranioSacral Therapy, patients receive hands-on treatment to release the tension and stress in the body. It is a gentle form of bodywork that uses touch to improve overall health.

Our therapists often start the therapy by using light touch techniques that allow them to monitor the flow of fluid around the central nervous system and determine the areas of weakness that cause pain and discomfort.

Once the problem has been identified, they will work with the client to release the tension and restore balance to the body through delicate manual techniques.

Currently, CenterPointe offers Craniosacral Day Retreat – a custom-made program with an integrated approach to meet the needs of your healing goals. Our Craniosacral Day Retreat includes a combination of any of the following services:

  • 60 to 90-minute craniosacral sessions
